Transportation
Round-trip shared-ride transportation is available through the County by Community Transit. The shared-ride program is 50 cents per trip or $1.00 for a round-trip. Contact the Center to arrange for Community Transit. Community Transit will transport individuals age 65 or older who live in Chester, Aston, Chester, Chester Township, Eddystone, Lower and Upper Chichester, Marcus Hook, Parkside, Trainer, Upland. Please contact SEPTA for a bus schedule if you would like to take public transportation.Meals
Nutritious meals are served at lunchtime Monday through Friday. See our menu, updated monthly. Reservations for meals are requested one day in advance, by calling the Center. A $2.50 per person donation is suggested for individuals over age 60, $3.50 for persons under age 60.Membership
Membership is open to people of all races, creeds, and cultures, age 50 and older. To become a member, pick up a registration form at the Center or click here. Fill it out and pay the annual fee of $30.00 per year for regular membership and $60.00 per year for a trustee-level membership. The fee supports the operating budget, is voluntary and activities are open to members and non-members alike. Members may receive reduced rates for fee-based programs as they are added to the activity calendar or Center for Life Long Learning.Directions
From 95 North: Take 95 South to Highland Avenue Exit. Follow exit around to the right (will be on Highland Avenue). Keep straight for three lights. At third light (Mobil Gas Station), turn left. Make first right turn after gas station. This will be Hayes Street.
