Executive Director's Message
Welcome! Since 1977, Senior Community Services (SCS) has served seniors in Delaware County with pleasure and fortitude. Working with community partners and leaders, SCS continues to improve the quality of life for older adults.
Whether through the Long Term Care or Senior Center division of our organization, SCS prides itself on the agency's responsiveness to the needs of the community, the diversity of our programs and services, and the compassion with which we approach each individual.
Looking to the future, many more challenges and opportunities await SCS. We are operating with more efficiency and greater accountability than ever before. In 2004, SCS Senior Centers received national accreditation through the National Institute of Senior Centers a unit of the National Council on Aging. Through our growth of new programs, marketing initiatives, and private and public partnerships, we will meet each new endeavor and develop every opportunity to meet the needs of our consumers.
